Three New-Build Regency-Inspired Townhouses

This development saw the transformation of a constrained site, replacing a dilapidated detached property with three individually designed new-build homes – one four-bedroom and two three-bedroom properties.

Completed over 12 months, the development was designed to reflect the character of the Regency-style properties found locally, combining traditional architectural detailing with modern finishes and contemporary living spaces.

The location presented a number of challenges throughout construction. With a brook running along the rear boundary, careful consideration was given to protecting the watercourse and ensuring the development would not contribute to future flood risk. The site itself was particularly tight, with limited access and very little room for materials and machinery, while its position alongside a busy main road required careful planning throughout the build. Consideration was also given to minimising disruption to neighbouring properties wherever possible.

The completed development makes thoughtful use of a challenging site, delivering three characterful new homes that sit comfortably within their surroundings while providing all the benefits of modern construction and living.
